The story behind Nouèm Oil & Nature
Nature has given us everything our skin needs. I truly believe that. Jojoba, argan and black cumin. People have used these oils for centuries. Somewhere along the way we forgot, and started buying jars without knowing what was inside.
Me too. Until five years ago, when I decided to find out for myself. I read, I researched, and at my kitchen table I began blending oils. First for myself. Then for a child close to me with eczema, for whom I made an oil that cares for the skin gently and calmly. The skin felt suppler afterwards, and I knew: this is what I want to do more of.
After more than 25 years in our family business, I am now building something of my own. It didn't start with a business plan, but with a few bottles of oil and a lot of curiosity.
The name
Nouèm was the name I once saved for a daughter. I had two sons, and I am so happy with them. The name stayed with me, and now something else carries it, something I was able to create myself.
Back to basics
My oils come straight from the source. Every formula is simply built: a few carrier oils that do the work, and just enough of the rest. Nothing because it sounds nice on a label. Simple, pure and carefully formulated in line with European cosmetics legislation.
